Watched all that first half and what a horror show…I’ve been on the fence with Moran despite some of his better games but he is, yet again, having another shocker. Not strong enough, gives the ball away too much, doesn’t press…I’d sub him off…o wait

He needs a rest.

Big chance missed after Szmodics’ free kick radically shifts the game.

Cheap goal, lapse of concentration from A Wharton and Wahlstedt.

Don’t think Southampton have done anything close to enough to be going in 1-0 up. Possession football is tedious, most passes are between their CBs.

Would have been happy to continue with this game plan, but we’ll need to alter the approach second half now.

Hill, Tronstad and Moran have looked off their games today. Brittain experiment not yielding results.

We’re going to get opportunities from our left, as Adam, Siggy and Szmodics all naturally drift out there, so I expect to see that second half. Not over, Russell Martin teams have mistakes in them.

Are you real? Wahlstedt been best player...the goal was down to poor defending from Wharton on the corner.

It's a slight GK error but more blame is on Wharton. Obvious what their guy was trying to do so you gotta be wise to it and muscle him out of the way. Instead, both Wharton and Leo were taken out of the game.

It was a bit luck too seeing it on the replay...

Not a pleasant watch. Weve been totally dominated and have offered absolutely nothing. We keep giving the ball away.

Weak goalkeeping for the goal. Brittain is not a winger, Hill has been all over the shop out of position at full back and we dont have a striker on the pitch.

With our record when conceding first and nothing on the bench, it doesnt bode well.

And the fact no one else attempts to win a ball with their head played 1 yard from goal at knee height. Wharton is wrong side, Leo should be able to get to it, but someone else should get a head on it.
