What is this refereeing? If he’s not got a Newcastle bias, he’s he’s doing a good job of pretending.

I thought we’d given up when Buckley and Dolan came off, but we finished the game really well.

Why don’t we play like this in the league?

This is a fucking scam, this ref wants a slap.

We’ve been sensational in the second half. Really expected us to fold for entirely understandable reasons, but we’ve stepped up, entirely. Thoroughly better than Newcastle in all departments. Eddie Howe pulling this kind of performance out of the squad he has against our town team, 16th in the Championship on a torrid run. Fraud, tin pot.

Extremely proud of the graft we’re putting in, but half an hour is a long while to hold on for, with one eye on the fixture list.

Played much much better second half. (I wonder why?)

Were derailed for a period by really poor substitutions but got the goal and got a second wind and finished the stronger.

Deserve to sneak through on the balance of play but we probably won't.

Glad to see Ayari starting to show something.

Didn't acquit himself well in that start against Cardiff, but I figure a smart club like Brighton will have had their reasons for bringing him in.

Got some fire to him too, and seemingly unlucky with refs (I recall him getting some unjust fouls in his first or second appearance too...)
