A Moran and Buckley centre midfield partnership 🫣 Gonna be a long night. Newcastle name a very strong lineup.
joey_big_nose
Crikey is it really Moran and Buckley as a midfield two? I mean that is asking for serious trouble...
philipl
I was feeling OK. Then I saw that midfield duo.

simongarnerisgod
a freezing 8 hour shift and being absolutely shattered has put paid to my rovers attendance tonight,im`e sat here with a brandy shaking my head at that midfield pairing😩 and the abject crisene at left wing back,it will be a bigger miracle than 5 loaves and 2 fish if we get anything out of this one
Moptop1
And this is what Venkeys have reduced us to. I hope if a supporter interviewed outside the ground they say something live on tv about tonight’s game and mentions we want the owners out. That would get some exposure for sure! Only takes one on national TV to do it. Come on, Up t’Rovers!
Rogerb
Bucko is unlikely to last more than 70 minutes.

Polky
Midfield is so weak, if Tronstad is out for a few weeks we are buggered.
Tyrone Shoelaces
Then you look at the bench. Have we got any game changers at all ?
simongarnerisgod
i don`t think eustace rates garrett, why else would you not put a tackler in alongside buckley, moran is a fairy who could win the ball off a toddler
Upside Down
If there's no show of discontent tonight then we may as well just give up. Just voluntarily resign from the league and start next season in the unibond or whatever. It's where we're going to end up anyway with venkys.
SIMON GARNERS 194
Cutbacks here, cutbacks there, thanks to Venkys they're everywhere!!
Mercer
Think it will be embarrassing tonight. Having seen our midfield, have stuck a tenner on a 5-1 Newcastle win at 33/1. Think my joy tonight will be derived from our takeaway and a nice wine. As the great Dave Allen would say "may your God go with you".

I got my Rovers shirt on, began to convince myself we might just nick something here. Then I saw the line up and that central midfield. Demoralising. Inevitable really with the squad we've been left with. Also, a big game, big experience, and it is being given to some loanees who haven't done much at all in league games. Developing other teams' (dubious) prospects. The magic of the FA Cup.

Don't think your bet will come in, largely because you've backed us to score! 🙈 The rest is correct though.

We have been unlucky with injuries this season - but we desperately needed midfield cover before we lost Wharton. I just hope and pray that Tronstad isn't out for too long - or that could seal our fate.
