I suppose they're happy with the alternative, which is the likes of venkys, that chansiri fella and this fucking prick owning our national culture and heritage outright. Guess I'm just not a real fan, or something. Quote

davulsukur Posted Friday at 18:55 Posted Friday at 18:55 I see Sky have billed Wrexham v Birmingham as the "Hollywood Derby". Cringe. 4 Quote

Gav Posted yesterday at 12:12 Posted yesterday at 12:12 Mass pitch invasion at Hillsborough, live on Sky, direct action has its place when you have sh1t owners watching on TV. Venkys Out 2 Quote
DutchRover Posted yesterday at 13:14 Posted yesterday at 13:14 Relegation looking more and more nailed on with each passing week. Ismael will keep plodding along because Suhail and Gestede demand mediocrity and cheapness. Venky's probably don't even know what is happening. Summer transfers turning out exactly as we all expected, cheaper and worse, even those who have talent like Morishita. Selling Hyam and Travis was footballing suicide no matter how mediocre some on here think they were. Miller is not a CB, maybe in a 3 but never in a 4. Only consistently impressive new guy has been Alebiosu (Morishita perhaps to a lesser extent). It's genuinely hard to believe that even a couple of years ago I felt so positive/hopeful about the direction of the club with JDT and Gregg at the helm, with Adam Wharton coming through and Arma/BBD/Szmodics up top to root for. 3 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted yesterday at 15:55 Backroom Posted yesterday at 15:55 Wonder what the Derby fans think of Eustace, did a good job keeping them up but currently just a point above us with 8 points after 9 games after being backed in summer. Not exactly pulling up any trees Quote

philipl Posted yesterday at 19:22 Posted yesterday at 19:22 15 points deduction for Wednesday now expected. Effectively means we have two relegation places to avoid with Sheffield United having ownership and a summer transfer window which makes ours look benign and Oxford in danger of second seasonitis. Ismael Gestede and Pasha will have to work on it to get us relegated. Not a gimme by any means. 4 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago watching the ipswich vs norwich game, norwich ,despite their personel are absolutely dire,as a manager, how do you devise a team shape thats gets so little out of a top class centre forward (sarjeant).norwich fans must be furious Quote

Carelessly losing or giving the ball away is the story of the game for me. Quote

Have a manager who's good at scrapping results. Their bench looks better quality than Rovers. Sheff Utd will definitely climb the table with lots of attacking ability such as Hamer and Ohare plus Cannon. Looks like Sheff Wed 24th and Rovers 23rd come next May. Quote

Much smarter passing and movement. Another superb goal from Philogene as well. At some point defenders will presumably be advised to close him down rather than stand off and let him pick his spot. The lad is clearly deadly from outside the box if he's given time. Quote

He over plays his hand and loses the ball. Ipswich transfer the ball into the space he’s just left and it’s game over. The sort of thing we do. Quote

I wish I could sit here with 100% certainty that Rovers wont suffer any points deduction this season - sadly, with our ownership and executive management, I can't. 20 hours ago, roverandout said: Preston flying high. I wonder what they think of heckingbottom now Heckingbottom might not be everyone's cup of tea but as a Championship manager he knows both the game and how to organize a side. Think Coventry and Ipswich are straight up. Coventry now have the all important confidence and momentum. Ipswich have a very good manager in McKenna and after the inevitable team changes following their PL relegation they are now getting results (think it's11 points from last 5 games) - win their game in hand against Rovers and they would be third. I do not blame McKenna one iota for what happened with our abandoned game - would have expected Ismael to do the same (it's our owners and executive management to blame for not resolving the longstanding feckin drainage issues). Middlesbrough and Leicester to take two of the play-off places with the other two places wide open (why not PNE?). For the drop - Owls, Rovers and very likely Oxford. roversfan99 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Mercer does come out with plenty of embarassing predictions but I dont see how predicting us to go down is that controversial. Its not difficult to comprehend why we might be one of the favourites to fall. Also, I really dont see what influence McKenna had. The pitch was unplayable regardless of whether he said anything and historically an abandoned game is started from scratch, whether thats fair or not is a seperate argument but the decision expectedly followed that precedent. But even if he did argue for that, we would do the same in that position. Hardly something to become bitter iver. Quote
