Theyve no money never mind the £10mil minimum it would take. Hes staying here, strutting his stuff with rothwell, whilst downing, travis and johnson run the show.

they signed Costa on a loan with obligation to buy for 15 mill next season.

Hopefully just the usual tripe from talkshite, selling Dack to a premier league team for big money thrn id understand. It would be madness Selling him to a league rival when our manager has stated top 6 is our target

Nyambe lenihan mcglorie bell

Chapman Buckley Travis Armstrong

                    Dack

                 Gallagher

Not exactly old is it. If we are playing the what if game.

But neither of the teams named will be playing it will be a mix but don't let that get in the way of a moan.

And you can throw Rothwell, Butterworth in as well, some good young ‘uns’ in that mix, with a few older experienced guys to help out.

How much did they get for selling That lad to Spurs?

Therein lies the heart of the problem.

Mowbray demonstrated last season he doesn-t have the ability, nouse or ambition to take us forward and is starting to wreak damage it may take years to recover from if we are relegated again.

We may never recover if the owners eventually get frustrated wirh the lack of progress/regression and take their bat and ball home. with them.

What even remotely suggests we will be in a relegation fight.

I’d love Mings

Not a chance in hell, he impressed at Villa who went up and want too sign him. He’ll go for big money to either a lower end prem team or too a top end championship club. Be realistic lads come on, i’d be more than happy with Jake Cooper from Milwall.

No chance of Jake Cooper, he'll become the new Marcus Maddison before the windows over.

I think we'll end up with a centre back on loan, someone completely out of left field.

It was inevitable we’d be linked with him eventually - especially now Raya is on his way. Right age though. Glad to hear that he’s an affable chap. AAK has still got it #AAKITK

For people who know and are involved in football the choice should be simple. Want a big commanding keeper? Go and get Fraser Forster. It's simple, don't fuck about, call his agent and get him up here ASAP. There should be no other options. Get it done.

But not too big he can't get down quick.  Mixed feelings about Raya potential is there but can he develop.  Some of that, timing in coming for the ball is instinctive he clearly does not have those instincts.  Just dunno.  We have been spoiled for keepers fir so many years, Jones, Bradshaw, Arnold( plucked from nowhere wasn't he) many others.  Sorry wrong thread but Raya related.  Just don't know in a few years we could be kicking ourselves but we could just as easily be thanking Brentford for the money.

Given how  our transfer window activity is shaping up I'd snap anyone-s hand off now for 21st before a ball is kicked.

I personally disagree here, we have plenty of young heads in the squad already and bar rodwell our recruitment has only been u25's for a while. Be it your chapman's, davenport's or Brereton's, along with a strong u23 squad.

I feel it's right we are looking for experience and the calm heads that brings. Granted Downing maybe a little too far on that scale. Bringing in young players seems to only give Mowbray an excuse not to play them. Plus quality 24-26 Year olds are more expensive.

Just a follow up  we where the 9th youngest squad last year. We had a bulk of our squad at the 20-24 range. We definitely lack in the 28-32 bucket
