booth
WBA could play all night they still wouldn't score.

booth
98th minute. Reminds me of the other WBA game I watched where the ref added 11 minutes. Is this a thing with WBA?
Tricky
Off topic but didn't the scorer get a top 10 hit with 'happy' in the early noughties?
superniko
Only one of those teams looked like a promotion contender……and they weren’t wearing claret and blue
AllRoverAsia
That's 3 times I've watched WBA this season and Grant is getting worse, and fast. Cullen is quality for the Belgians.

They’ve scored 12 already, more than most in the league, they’ll be fine. Agree about Grant though, don’t rate him much. They’ll kick on when Dyke is back from injury. Great looping cross in from the right that led to the goal.
BRFC4EVA
Wba are struggling cos they have an abysmal dinosaur of a manager. A half decent one would walk that squad to promotion. I mean they've drawn 6 of 8 games. Ridiculous Edited September 2, 2022 by BRFC4EVA

SuperBrfc
Am I right in thinking the bubble operation started in 2009/2010? I'm sure both sets of fans were allowed to travel without restriction to both cup ties in 2005. Something must have happened for that to change later on, but I can't remember what it was. Something must have happened for that to change later on, but I can't remember what it was. 2009 was when Andy Porters masterplan of invading cherry tree fell flat on ite face and many of them got jail time and banning orders. The writing was on the wall after that and they were never gonna ease restrictions for some time. Yes the cup game at Ewood was the last time we were allowed to attend restriction free. I recall the dingles tried all sorts of ways to avoid detection including getting off the train at Rishton and walking en masse to Ewood.
Mattyblue
There was a bubble in 2000, no? All Rovers fans had to get coaches from Ewood from what I remember.

No as stated above the bubble started in 09-10. For the games in 2000/2001 and the cup games in 04/05 it was strongly advised to travel by coach but you didn't have to. The only restriction in 2000 was that tickets only went on sale to ST holders with non being released for general sale, which meant we were around 500/600 short of selling out. Mattyblue
Well there you go, I must’ve gone with a load of mard arses, as I don’t even remember a conversation of potentially going by any other method than a coach from Ewood. MarkBRFC
Same to be honest. Even though the option was there for the first two games we still got the coach from Ewood. The 2000 game was especially hyped up which I think put a good few off.
