He's a bloody good player (which he clearly isn't as he's playing in the Championship) if he's getting to that ball before Wharton.

Watch it again - Wharton hammers it clear instantly.

It doesn’t matter. It’s the intent.

Except he clearly didn’t. The first booking yes, but for the second one they are breaking for a dangerous attack and he just instinctively pulls him. Numb.

He got the foul on Gally wrong though but bottled that as it would probably have had to be a red.

What do you suggest, he tells the ref he’s really happy with his decision and that Edun was stupid?

I never saw Edun have a good game yet.

Or Zeefuik or Hedges come to think of it.

Giles had that one practice match on the left where he put 136 crosses in to nobody.

Great eh.

The January signings are a pile of utter dross.

Nyambe off 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Came to watch Chorley today instead and hoped to keep my head out of Rovers for my sanity.
If we were down to 10 men I actually think Nyambe is the 1st player in that team I want playing. Pace, strength and versatility.
Get out Tony

Utter bollocks this, Sunday League standard.

Watch how Peterbrough are leaving Lenihan as the outlet so they can pressure him into the inevitable mistake to get possession back.

Another car crash bottling performance in a must win game. Pathetic.

If Lenihan thinks he's a Premier League player he's utterly deluded.

No I’d tell him the Brereton goal should have stood, the first booking was nonsense and the Gallagher incident was a red card. But I wouldn’t make a dick of myself by defending the indefensible.

That was awful to watch. The back 5 isn't solid or tight enough when it should be. Far too relaxed on the ball, no passion or effort from any of the players. You would think we had nothing to play for at times.

Feel for Nyambe getting subbed to be honest. didn't deserve that really. Now Mowbray has gone for 4-3-2 formation with Gallagher and Brereton. But when we play 5 at the back he wants to play Buckley as false 9 instead of going 5-3-2 with 2 main strikers and Buckley, Travis and another in midfielder.

Edun deserved the red card for 2 stupid fouls. no sympathy for him.

With Sheffield United losing Rovers need to win this game.

Did the commentator just mention ‘It’s a big summer for Blackburn and Mbappe’ in the sentence?

Maybe he knows something…..

It will be a big summer cos we need to recruit a new manager/head coach and head of recruitment plus around 8 to 10 signings.

Here’s a list of things an ambitious manager would do to rectify this -

1) Make it known very clearly to the referee at half time - on the pitch - that he’s weak. Peterborough are influencing his decisions by surrounding him. He needs to be told that he’s got the Brereton goal wrong and Edun second yellow wrong.

2) Change the formation to an attack minded one, despite being down to 10 men. This referee is capable of trying to even it up in the second half.

Kaminski

Lenihan VJH Wharton Giles

Johnson Dack Travis

Brereton Gallagher.

3) Inform the players this is last chance saloon and they must win the second half.

On Point 2, We have moved to this formation but Buckley in centre mid with Travis and Johnson. But with Mowbray we all know he could change formation and we lose it

Fact is Edun was MILES off the pace and was playing out of position. He is 100% responsible for his own DUMB decision. Referees are crap, we know that.

But (as always) the blame is on that twerp in the fucking silk shirt on the sideline! Back 5, left back in midfield vs a team that are currently 1 point off mathematical relegation.

Fuck off Tony.

Three weeks ago you were really unhappy that I called Mowbray stubborn and argued that he wasn’t.

I agree Gallagher had a decent game last time out, but unfortunately I think he will be crap today, and will barely get 5 yards away from the touchline except for when there’s a corner.

In recent weeks I have changed my views as I explained to you Sunday or Monday I think my reasons for changing my opinion

Giles doesn't give a fuck - awful body language and effort. He's not going to have a successful career.

Likely because he has no idea what the plan is. One week he’s a right winger, the next left wing back then center mid. I’d have the attitude of fuck all too

Need 3 points line up with 6 defenders, Travis who lays deep and a mid as a #9. Not surprisingly we struggle going forward.
