I absolutely reckon that JDT/Broughton/Wharton could’ve been a perfect storm for promotion if they’d had the backing Mowbray had.

They gave that plodder 12 million quid to spunk on Brereton and Gallagher alone.

If they'd have given that kind of money to JDT we'd have finished in the automatics.

When we did get £15m to spend on the 3 strikers, the squad we had before was one that had dropped into League 1, having been totally wiped out in the summer leading to relegation. So even that money wasnt enough to build that to a squad to get us promoted.

But had Tomasson been given reasonable money on top of that, and had Venkys not repeatedly denied us the chance of selling and reinvesting, then the platform was there. But Venkys didnt seem arsed about pushing on, quite the opposite.

The laughable thing is , we know see Suhail stepping in and apparently stopping the Leonard transfer to Posh, as he wanted anther £200k.

From what I am told, Gestede agreed it at £1m and Pasha blocked it.

What a pity he didn't do something similar with Wharton, which is telling, given that he admitted, he didn't know how good, he was going to be.

Looking at wharton's injury record maybe 18 million wasn't that bad. He's done the same injury he did last season apparently

Hopefully, these are just muscle injuries coming from a combination of workload and the fact that he's had a reasonably big growth spurt over the last couple of years.

But it is definitely concerning. Picking up non-contact injuries every 3/4 months is not a great sign.

With Wharton being injured, I doubt he will be sold today.

However, it will be a disaster if he does go for £150 Million and Rovers get a big pay out. Pasha will be a hero in Venky's eyes and the face washing will continue way into the future with Pasha having complete autonomy.

As a side note, I have heard from  a Wharton family friend that Adam favours a move to Liverpool.

It wouldn't surprise me

Liverpool won't pay big money for an injury prone player. No one would. Wharton has alot to prove - not least his fitness and the weaknesses in his game before he gets the "big" move he apparently wants.

Whoever he goes to he needs to ensure the pathway to the first 11 is there. At Liverpool he’ll do well to knock out Mac Allister or Gravenberch.

Really hope the injury isn’t as bad as feared - such bad timing for the lad, he would have no doubt got his first competitive outing for England this time out.

If he was to sell for £150 million, I'd wager that Suhail Pasha's head might be the next to be nailed on the boardroom wall. I mean, even to a bunch of remote and disengaged halfwits, the sale of an asset for around 13.6% of 'fair market value' might be seen as somewhat cack handed and incompetent... Just think, the Venksters, could have recouped a large slice of their sunk cost in one fell swoop, simply by holding on to a star player, adding a little extra support to a manager clearly capable of cutting it at Premier League level (or at least ambitious enough to take the club to that level again) and waiting for the offers to roll in - who'd a thewt it?

And what stopped this alternative universe scenario playing out? Well, apparently there's this shadowy figure at the club who holds the purse strings, but has the imagination of an ant, the football knowledge of the average foot scraping and the business acumen of Mr Magoo.

So, come on Liverpool, Barcelona, whoever, make this prick stand out for the fraud that he clearly is (NB, Suhail Pasha, not Saint Adam (I bleed blue and white) Wharton.

PASHA and VENKY FOOTBALL SCOURGE OUT!

Quote what Suhail said in the real version of the FF Minutes. "We did not know he would be that good" and send a few hundred copies to VH headquarters advising that Suhail's lack of judgement on players, (which is a fundamental part of his job) is costing them millions.

Pasha out.
