v Middlesbrough (a) - 16/3/24

Recommended Posts

Our best half for a while but we haven't  posed any real threat. Boro look a bit leggy with lots of loose passes.

Could be a big day for us with other results going our way at the moment. We'll probably end up losing 1-0 though.

Look a decent organised team for once, declined balls not dropping for us today and delivery from Pickering and Hedges letting us down. Pitch seems very slippy and Buckley not outstanding but if you look how many times he has bossed O’brien and won the ball back he is control middle of the park

Think we’ve looked alright enough, just lacking a cutting edge in the final third.

Some scary moments at the back, but with the players we have there, I’d say it’s to be expected tbh.

My thoughts too. In that context a point and a game less to play isn't a bad result for us. Of course said form over a whole season that'd be problematic but Rovers do like shunting issues into the next year...

He has had a decent game Buckley and to be fair, this has been our best half so far under Eustace. We look capable of scoring and date I say it, coming away with an unexpected win.

Us fans deserve that for sure, after the last few weeks, so hope we can do it.
