Bit of a side note, but they’re absolutely shocking at passing around the back.
2 or 3 times we’ve dispossessed them on the edge of their box when they were messing about with the ball.

I’d get Kargbos pace on, and have him pressing them

So far, so ok.

How much better is Toth than Pears?
It's ridiculous how long it took for the latter to be dropped.

I'd shove Kargbo on for Hedges at HT and maybe Gueye on for O'Hashi around the 60 minute mark.

Results currently going the way we need them to.

Great performance from the back four and Toth. Batth back to his brilliant self. Just need some of that tenacity up top as well. Sheffield United is the better team and earlier in the season this would’ve been a good result, but we need something special today. Would love for Gueye to come in and score with a towering header at 90+3, but by then it’ll probably be all over. Still….better than I hoped for!

Roll on 2nd half. We are still in this and as long as it’s 0-0 the chance is there. If Sheff U score I think it’ll be game over. Keep the faith if you can. This is one of those instances beer is made for!

Are we really at the stage we are debating if hitting a ball againsta defender from 25 yards is a shot or not?

Yes. I'm disappointed with what we've created.

Not exactly dying on our shield are we.

Id bring Kargbo on, they are very loose in midfield and his pace on the turnover could make a big impact. Gueye and Dennis I am less sure of what benefit they would bring.

Very unlikely we make it but the big relief for me is that Ismael now seems to have the team well coached and I am looking at next season with considerably less dread than a month ago.

He would look silly with a kidney on his head

Imagine the crowd chants after that bottler cried about having a pineapple on his head!

Gueye and Kargbo on for Ohashi and Hedges at half time for me.

Everyone else doing their bit, we just need to do ours and we’ve got 45 to do it.

COYB!

Being cheated out of 2 points at Turf Moor is really coming back to bite us.

Someone must have signed a six digit deal with the devil.

We were never going to win this 0-2 or 0-3, I'd have definitely taken 0-0 at the break

Cov goal not ideal but a win still does it

Bristol to equalise early in the second half to almost finish it I reckon

Would have been nice to get a competent ref and have been given one of those pens.

Alas competent refs are few and far between.

I think we are at the point of throwing shit at the wall and seeing if anything sticks.

Did Cantwell complete any passes in the first half. I take it everyone is nervous, gameplay is perfect so far. But the second half needs to be way better in the way we use the ball forward. Kargbo needs to come on in the final 30. Pretty sure Ismael will have at least 2 game plans up his sleeve for the second half.

Come on ROVERS!

you forget the fact that the nincompoops upstairs will sell anyone of any value this summer

on todays game, think we`ll see kargbo, gueye and probably dennis after the hour, might as well lose than draw,we`ve just got to get that goal

On the one hand you can be disappointed by how lacklustre we've looked in the final third.

On the other hand, I'd still take 0-0 after 70 minutes before going gung-ho for the final 20+.

Would be "tactical" to go show a bit more aggression on one of the "Star" United players. Let them know that if we aren't making the playoffs, then neither are you - via injury.

45 minutes in and the scenario remains the same.... win, and in.
