Liverpool beat Southampton 2-1 setting up the title race going down to the last day. Southampton didn't look interested outside of the first and last 10 minutes. They are a funny outfit.

Depending on how Thursday's games go 3 teams could be playing to avoid the drop too. 

If you really stretch it and care that 4th place is still up for grabs then 6 of the 10 games have something extra over points, pride, and placement money to play for.

It's set to be a cracker of a final day. For me there's a feeling that Liverpool could do it. 

City had a stumble against West ham when they could have put it out of reach and Liverpool win the FA Cup, mentally there's a swing in momentum. Add in the Gerrard and countinho at villa doing Liverpool a favour, the script it written.

I'm not so sure, against Villa I can see City scoring early and winning comfortably as they often do.

It's got all the makings of a few years ago when Man City had to beat Brighton away on the final day to win the league. Brighton went 1-0 with about 10 minutes gone, which was then followed by City annihilating from that point onwards to win 4-1...

Villa should be embarrassed by their performance. Good luck to Burnley who have capitalised on Villa's lethargy but the likes of Watkins and Mings are on already on their sun loungers. Gerrard has to really get stuck into them if they are to improve.

Hard to understand why Viera has been lauded recently for taking Palace to 13th. Could finish 14th by the end of the season, which would be exactly the same position they finished last season and the season before. Hardly a revelation. Lose tonight and they've actually won less games than Everton this season.

Burnley or Leeds to drop. Tough games on paper for both on Sunday, so could go either way.

Palace were a disgrace in the second half.

Everton have done JUST enough AGAIN to survive. What a horrible little club.

Villa have been whimps throughout this game. Barnes should have been sent off for his elbowing in first half but I think Burnley have enough in them to stay up after a point tonight.
