Liverpool are allowed games like this because they then go on to pummel most other teams. Completely ridiculous comparison. Mowbray can't even hold a 2-0 lead.

It’s not a comparison, it’s just that everybody gets pounded.

If Rovers come out ready vs ShefU & we win, or if we lose, we all still want Mowbray canned. Moving right along, there’s nothing left to say about this mess that hasn’t been said 1,000 times.

“When you play against quality teams you have to be careful of them coming to your pitch and letting them just do what they want and play too deep and let them have the ball,” Mowbray said of the approach.

“I’m sure they’ve watched us and won’t expect us to let them just totally dominate the footballmatch, yet the danger is we’re too positive and they play through it and they get their top scoring striker into the box because they have played through our strikers and our midfield players and the front press.

“There’s the danger. The conundrum for us is how hard we press, or do we sit and try and stop the top scorer in the league and have lots of bodies around him. Hopefully we get the balance right.

“We’ll try and be positive at home as always, high quality can push you back and you have to work hard and we have to try and score on transition and we’ll see how the game unfolds.”

”Fulham have been up and down, it’s not as if they’re invincible,”

“They have lost football matches this year, so it gives you a mindset that you know if you play well and at the maximum we can get something from them.

“They’re second in the league but they are beatable, as Coventry showed, yet the next away game they went and beat Nottingham Forest 4-0.”

+7 GD becomes 0. Down to 12th.

We all know Mowbray is useless, but his inability to react to going a man tonight made it painfully clear how out of his depth he is.

The worst thing about this defeat? It changes nothing. He'll be in the dugout on Saturday like nothing happened.

Mowbray will be sacked....mark my words..

So humiliating...

Bigger chance they'll find little green men on the moon tomorrow. "Plenty of positives, their second should have been offside, individual mistakes, we'll take it on the chin" etc etc everyone knows the usual garbage train. Mowbray and Venkys have absolutely not the slightest notions that the club and the supporters are worth something.
