Why? Do they support Mowbray over Rovers? Generally it's the same people who told us to support Kean and Coyle as well. More supporters of whichever manager is in situ than Mowbray himself. We've well and truly stagnated under TM and the rot has set in. The longer he stays the worse it's going to get.

RoversClitheroe
What pisses me off is our journalists - Andy Bayes, Rich Sharpe and Jaquob Cooke, they need to be asking the difficult questions, call him out on his bullshit! The fact he was allowed to say I don't care about the stats I let my eyes decide on performance was a disgrace. He constantly talks about stats.
SIMON GARNERS 194
It's dire Tony...it's no longer working. Please do the decent thing and give us a chance of salvaging something from this ever spiralling piss pot of a season. The art of good comedy is to know when to exit stage left, taxi for Hoochie. (But I'm still laughing over someone poaching of Mowbray) 😆 Brilliant.

Exiled in Toronto
Dream on guys. I’d be flabbergasted if they canned him. The mistake most people make (IMO) is two-fold. Firstly, assuming that the owners have the same objectives as the fans, and secondly, the old chestnut of “it has to be this year or we’ll lose Armstrong/Rhodes/Shearer/Speedie/Field/Pickering...” The owners would probably be delighted to cash in on Armstrong (assuming they even know who he is), and we lose our best players no matter where we finish, or who is the manager. The view from Pune is very different to the view from the Riverside.
Ewood Ace
He really is unbelievable. He appears to have forgotten the £7 Million he spent on Brereton, the £5 Million on Gallagher, the wonderkid on loan from Liverpool, the Germany international central midfielder and the England international who played for Liverpool that he spent the last of his budget on. He also seems to have forgotten that when Stoke brought O'Neill in they were bottom of the league. The thing is despite O'Neill spending just £2 Million in his time at Stoke he hasn't targeted any slow build and in 12 months he has taken them from bottom of the league to top 6 contenders. ‘Credit’ – Tony Mowbray looks enviously at Stoke City transfers and backing - Stoke-on-Trent Live (stokesentinel.co.uk) Edited January 16, 2021 by Ewood Ace
G Somerset Rover
Jesus Christ does he even think before he speaks? How does nobody call him out on his b*llocks? The clues where there when he decided on the Brereton gamble when we needed a defence.
roversfan99
I dont understand what style he has in mind, he mentioned being reluctant to go direct but we dont have a competent target man anyway.

After listening to him babble on about adapting to a new approach he's now looking to change? So another 6-12 month transition period? What a bellend. Had to laugh at the Stoke article talking of the value of their loan players. Yes Tony, the same loan players you could be targeting. Then he mentions an 'international manager' being in charge - Jesus Christ.... Not a chance he's walking, the guy is in full on self preservation mode.

Mowbrays comments are nonsense, but some perspective maybe.

Not many I would wager.
