v Cambridge Utd (h) - 06/01/24 FA Cup R3

Recommended Posts

Here we go again, the 2024 F.A. Cup.

As the club have once again stuck two fingers up in the face of long standing loyal fans its looking like there may be more Cambridge fans there than Rovers.

We should win this but who knows, honestly do we really care?

Hopefully we steamroll this lot and get a generous draw in the next round. Would be nice to reach the quarters or semis.

Advancing into the next round and getting hopefully a money spinner takes on more importance than usual right now.

That's why we are almost guaranteed to flunk it but then again probably the lowest crowd in a long time means only one thing.

I got my ticket for this game when they first came out, as printing at home is what I always do, so it was no difference. But after recent shit-shows I am undecided on whether to attend or not, as I will save the cost of train and bus fares.

Going to need to rest as many players as possible, as we keep getting told the lads are knackered due to a small squad/injuries. Gives them 2 weeks off ready for the game against WBA the following week.

----------------------Hilton

Hill------Gamble-----Wharton---Batty

------Garrett------Travis------Weston

Markanday----Leonard---Gilsenan

Not sure on fitness of Wharton. Assuming this will be Hills last game?

If not Batty, whoever the next in line is Duru or whoever.

It seems Cambridge have a dodgy keeper also should be a high scoring game then.

Hope like hell we don't sign him and sell them Leo, for a quick profit.

Duru is a right-back. We already have more than enough players playing out of position. I think Batty would be a good choice on the left, he has speed.

I’m hoping Jake Batty gets some minutes on Saturday. Looked a bit ropey against Walsall and has not been seen in the first team since.

I thought he might have a breakthrough season and put Pickering under some pressure. Maybe he’ll be loaned out before the window shuts?

Blackburn End sales are abysmal.

Waggott is a clown.

Wow I’ve never seen anything like that, are front row popular or have they just not been on sale?

Shambolic handling of this

Just imagine owners like this elsewhere.

Imagine having local media too scared to ask hard questions like Peter White would.

Imagine fans who are divided in such a way .

Imagine a club allowing Liverpool to take over.

Imagine closing the bbe

Imagine discriminating against the non tech

Yeah they don't sell the front rows now except for disabilities/mobility.

Yeh I would like to see Hilton. I get it we need the win but seriously we need an alternative to Leo. Give Hilton a game.
