West Bromwich Albion are Founder Members of the Football League, they’ve spent around 80 seasons as a top flight club (10 seasons more than us), they’ve also won numerous trophies. They are a historic

My Leeds supporting mate reckons we have just signed the best left back in the Championship. High praise indeed, but then he does support Leeds so hard to trust his judgement!

Maybe at his age he's not at his peak anymore, but he is basically as good as we could hope for at LB in the Championship. Better than Cunningham IMO.

I think our team looks so good right now, and would be even better if we were to bring in Pears and Trybull as well. My only worry is the injury-proneness of a lot of our players and the impact that could have on our season. Other than that, we are promotion contenders and I am gearing up for an exciting season!

For me Douglas is a win win. Either he pushes Bell to improve or he takes his spot and is a big improvement.

All round I'm happy with this window as it stands, Kaminski looks decent, Ayala is a much needed presence, Douglas upgrades LB significantly and Dolan is the cherry on top

I said he needed to pull rabbits out of the hat this season after the covid fiasco and blowing millions in other windows.  Looks like he's done that and reiterates what was said before he's another of those managers more suited to tight budgets than having a pocket full of funds.

Hope they all show their abilities now over the season and we are at least in with a shout of moving up from the middle of the division.

Right switch all the phones off at Ewood now, not having anyone coming in with last minute bids for our prized assets.

It's slightly premature to say so as they haven't even all played for us yet, but on paper at least, this has to be the best transfer window in a very, very long time.

Still walking a bit of a tightrope keeping Armstrong fit all season, although that worry eases slightly with Dack back playing (and hopefully scoring).

Sharpe says that both are registered in time for tomorrow's game.

I think this would be one occasion where Mowbray's tendency to not start new signings is completely understandable given their lack of game time, but I'd love to see Douglas thrown straight in.
