So much for giving the youngsters a run out 🙄

Not too much of a problem with the starting line up, I'm actually quite intrigued to see how Buckley/Travis/Davenport get on.

But why the hell are Douglas, Bennett, Evans, Johnson, Downing and Elliott on the bench.

Should be giving the youngsters the experience over people who either definitely won't be here or definitely shouldn't be here next season.

Makes me happy to remember the good times and what riches we had but by Christ it hits home hard at what we have sadly become. Some 20 years ago I was lucky enough to be at the Deepdale Promotion

I'm glad we are developing Elliott more than Dolan even at this late stage. I'm sure we will reap the dividends of that next season.

...it compares incredibly well ...particularly when you factor he has had to sell no one ! Plus the dreadful transfer fees paid for Gallagher and Brererton...and the utterly wasted wages on Ayala, Dow

It is a youngish side to be fair and one that should have been starting weeks ago.

Could very well be next seasons starting line up minus Armstrong and THB, poss Nyambie as well.  That's a very sobering thought.

Mowbray out.

Youngsters will get their chance.  Defenders are coming.

Arrogant, small minded stupid old fart.

Mowbray go now. It doesn’t even matter what the result is.

Good point, Mowbray said it himself.

As posted in other topic - 7 of this 16 won't be here definitely next season.

That's not taking into account Armstrong or Nyambe. Scary.

In Mowbray's mind he is giving the youngsters a run out. Buckley, Nyambe, Davenport, Brereton. Hell he probably still classifies Armstrong as one.

I quite like the midfield 3 of Trav, Buckley and Davenport.

Hopefully it works well.

This stupid manager should have been potted before the international break.

Mowbray out.

Evans, Johnson, Downing are guaranteed to come on in place of Buckley, Trav and Davenport, all at the same time, irrespective of the scoreline, so they can have their final appearance.

Dont forget Bennett. Unless he's getting a new deal 😳

Season is over, time to move forward and concentrate on other things as today’s result is totally immaterial. Don’t let it ruin your weekend like the weather, put it behind you and think of better times aheadđŸ€ȘđŸ€Ș

Should be play off celebrations today but instead....

Just go Mowbray !

Instead its a friendly in all but name.

Our manager doesn't care what the result is, so why would the players or fans?

Pissed off Dolan isn't starting and that absolutely nobody we haven't seen before is even on the bench in a meaningless game!

I expected the latter after seeing the u23 lineup last night, but it's still irritating as hell. The man just isn't a forward thinker at all.

Get out of our club Tony, you've outstayed your welcome
