Agreed. Completely useless to me.

What does he bring that one of our own youngsters couldn't?

He gets Tony backpats from the Liverpool coaches every time he's under pressure about how good he is for their young players.

2.25 am here and I'm wondering if this is the way to live my life. Grim watch.

Hour later here, on the plus side its easier to drift off and get a bit of kip when the game finishes ,

Does previous performances not come into you mind when you watch or assess football? If not then it really should.

Guarantee you I will, 100%. Can you say the same and give an honest opinion yourself?

Buckley played well on Saturday so find it strange you pick him out prior to the match.

I'm not claiming he is a super star in the making but this season he has done ok.Find it odd people feel the need to be criticising him prior to this game when there have been worse players than him in other games, especially when the lad has been at the club since he was 6.

He played very well in the first half against Swansea I didn't see a positive post by you then and on a whole I would describe his performances not spectacular but steady in the opening matches. So again find it odd you felt the need to post what you did

Can’t see it myself, albeit I’ve not seen much of him.
Looks like a kid, compared to Elliott who came and dominated games for us.

I gave him a bit of a slagging last season but feels like a game where Bradley Johnson would help get control in the middle. We just have a load of lightweight players in midfield now.

Clarkson looked lost in that half. Whether he was out of his depth, or just completely lost in whatever he was being asked to do in a team lacking in a proper game plan. He's used to being centre mid at Liverpool and generally zipping the ball about.

We are a shambles.

Midfield too weak.

No pace or muscle up front.

Not seen anything in Clarkson.  Can't play him and Buckley  May as well play Buckley.

Brereton has been absoloute garbage.

Hook Brereton and Clarkson.  See what the Brighton lad can do on the wing, Buckley in the midfield and Butterworth up top.

Let's go full midget.

John Barnes, don't go round the back, just through the legs.
